That's right! Around the world the oldest stone buildings
are what we call today "Megaliths" or megalithic cultures.
Blocks ranging from 2 - 1000 tons have been cut, dressed,
moved and erected with what appears with ease.
No Machines
So how did the ancients accomplish these apparent impossible
construction techniques without the use of machines? That's a great question
that deserves an answer.
No Records
There are no historical records of high speed rotary machines.
We see copper chisels in Egypt but no diamond tipped anything to cut through
hard Rose Granite.
Temple of the Sol (Sun)
In Peru, we traveled to the Ollantaytambo ruins to video and
look for clues. We asked the Park Guides about the (6) fifty ton stones
making up the Temple of the Sun. They told us where the large granite stones
were cut and the path they traveled to get it up to where they stand tall today.
It's truly amazing, an engineering marvel.
